It has been a wild couple of months in the flurry of festival season…and this morning I awoke to the first snow of the season. It is always a welcome relief, this sign from nature to slow down, and tuck away my acorns, and turn within.

No experience required – in fact, many of my teachers have said that formal training is a hindrance to discovering the authentic expression of the body, and it did indeed take me many years to undo a lifetime of formal dance training.
But I was determined, because I knew I had found a way to move my body that was wholly unlike anything I had ever seen or done before.
