Happy Solstice from the Savage Family <3
Last week we went out to the forest in search of the perfect Solstice tree. We wandered for hours in the snow, while the little one and I gathered wild greens and berries and played the drum, asking each plant if they wanted to come home with us.
After over an hour of hiking in the snow, the kids had enough and we decided to go home. While we didn’t find the perfect Solstice tree, my gathering bowl filled with juniper berries and branches, pine needles and cones, rose hips, and snow.
