Do you ever feel like, “one day I’ll know enough about such and such to write a book or teach?” For some reason teaching always came naturally, and I have no problem dancing in a kimono in front of hundreds of people – but actually finishing and publishing a book – not so easy! And I’d say 99.9% of my blocks are my own pre-conceived limitations (cue the “imposter syndrome gif”)

Yeah – THAT’S totally what it feels like. (For the other book that I’ve been writing for the past ten years, as well as the 4 other books in the queue!)

Celebrate with me!

I’m super proud that I finally hit “publish” and just got the dang thing out there.

And yes, folks, it IS right here for your reading, dancing, singing, creative pleasure: THE Way of Embodiment Workbook (and yes, there will be a full-length book soon!)

I’m also thrilled to share if you’re like me and not so fond of eBooks or spending any more time in front of a screen than you have to HERE is the on-demand printed full-color paperback:

Cover of 'The Way of Embodiment Workbook' featuring a red background with a white handprint and spiral design, along with the title and author's name.

Why this, why now?

Because THIS is the medicine that I most need for myself. Now there’s a truism you can take to the bank: whatever you most need to learn you will attract, create, share, multiply, and ultimately teach. There is SO much that I am still learning, and yet there is also so much that I have to share.

The essays and exercises in this workbook are the distillation of over 20 years of embodiment practices (nevermind my upbringing as a dancer, but since I was 19 taking the idea of “embodiment” as a discipline unto itself). These practices have been tested in the crucible of my life, and for those of you who know my history I didn’t choose the easy road. Over all this time, and through some unimaginable experiences, these exercises have kept me sane, safe, and perpetually inspired.

May you choose to make your life a work of art.

May you choose the unknown path.

May we all get over our fine selves and just do the thing.

With love, your Savage
