You are invited to join me for the First Monday of February Livestream where I have a totally unique performance planned – well, almost planned.

How do I create my performances?

I pray and journey in my imagination for the images and energies that are calling to come through, I journal and I drum. I become the “hollow bone” and ask Spirit to fill me with grace and inspiration, and I pray to become a medium of communication for a message that will heal, transport, and transform my audience.

Then…I let go and flow without judgement or second guessing whatever is coming through in the moment.

While this might sound chaotic, and maybe not the most strategic approach I invite you to also consider:

• hours spent weekly honing my craft including practice music improv sessions with Grandmother Drum, guitar, piano, and percussion.
• many hours spent every week keeping my voice in shape with classical vocal training and discovering new horizons of vocal expression
• hours spent weekly refining my physical body with strength training, aerobic exercises, yoga, and exploring the depths of Butoh Based Shamanic Embodiment techniques

• learning NEW skills like how to play the piano, write a book, and learning a Shamanic dance (from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of Chod)
• paying close attention to my dreams and visions, writing them down, practicing trusting my instincts and honoring my connection to the spirit world through following my spirit guides and making regular offerings of candles, water, incense, flowers, food & drink.

ALL of these elements are akin to the easel, canvas, brushes, paints and years spent in art school that a painter uses in the moment of creating a new painting. When all of those conditions are present, REAL ART happens.

Every performance is an invitation and expression of divine energy intended to inspire and transform my audience. And, your presence is just as sacred, equally as important.
